Just Saying Hello

I have a Genealogical record showing I am a fellow descendant in the Eaton Family. I will have to submit a DNA Sample to make sure now. I just found the extended Eaton Family i
has been organized.

Eaton family history

Hello, it has been really interesting reading all of the Eaton family history of the United States. Did you guys know our name goes back as far as 1273 on official records but I think it goes back a lot longer.

I have been told I am part of this lineage. My grandfather was Donald M Eaton of Stockton Illinois born 1897. His father/ my great grandfather was Walter Eaton. This is my mothers family side.

Thanks Dan

Etonian News issues

Our historical Society (Dublin H.S., Dublin, Ohio) has 9 issues of the Etonian News published in the 1950's and 1960's. These were in the estate of Ruth D. Hanover who we believe was great-great granddaughter of Mary Parnel Eaton.
Please let me know if the Association would like to have these and several member correspondence letters written by several Eaton family members.

WELCOME

Welcome to our new guestbook! Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about the Eaton Families Association and Eaton family questions you may have. We will do our best to answer.
I am wondering if membership dues for the first time person is $40 or $60? I am interested in joining and hail from John Eaton of Dedham.

Brick wall great grandfather

My grandad was Thomas Eaton born 1893 liverpool. His father was Henry. Henry was born 1845 in Liverpool uk I believe. He married Elizabeth Hesketh in 1880 in Liverpool and was already a widow but I can not find first wife. . When Thomas married it says father deceased, but gives his name as Thomas not Henry. On Thomas's birth cert father is Henry but marriage cert its Thomas. I can not find any death record for Henry.

Just now I've started to feel real curiosity about our ancestors. According to my uncle we should belong to the Irish brunch of Eaton-s but as far as I understand we lost track of our farthest known Eaton-ancestor somewhere in the US, just before traveling to Chile in the ninth century.

Ancestors

Have traced my ancestors back to Peter Eaton and Jane Hussey, as well as his father William Eaton. More recent ancestor is George Eaton who lived in Baltimore, Michigan.
