Genealogy Project for Our Grandchildren

I have been working on a genealogy project for my grandchildren. My husband’s grandmother always told us stories of her family being on the Mayflower but we never tried to verify that before. If my research is correct, the babies are actually direct descendants of

Eaton family

My maternal grandfather was Joseph Lester Eaton of Saunderstown RI.. I have just started to delve into the history of this side of the family. Mother had always said we were related to Frances Eaton of the Mayflower. I do know that we had many Joseph, Lester’s, Benjamin’s possibly carrying on family names.
Any information, ideas as how to connect with family or information would be greatly appreciated

William Eaton

I am a new member here. A first cousin and I have done much of the genealogy on our Eaton line. We also have O'Dea and Dawson in the family line. In my "welcome" email, I was notified that we go back to William Eaton, Reading, MA, who arrived in Watertown, MA in the 1630's along with his brother (assumed) Jonas. We are in the process of writing a publication on our family history.

Newburyport 1639

I belive this website is relevant for Eatons descending from Francis Eaton who travelled via the Mayflower and landed in 1620. I have traced my Eaton family to a landing at Newburyport/Salisbury in 1639. Is there any hisotry related to John Eaton and were they related to Francis Eaton?

I have a copy of a book: Eight Generations of Eaton Family Genealogy, written by William Eaton and Phil Converse, which I will gladly send on to someone who wants it. It is very thorough and extremely well done.

I am David S Eaton, son of Jasper C Eaton of Barbourville Kentucky. That is all I know for sure. I am part of the DNA project discussed on this web page; however, I have not followed up on anything. What I would like to do is get linked up with an authority on the Eaton family and commission a work on our line of the family tree. Can this organization help me with this?
